Ceramic Towers

This series of works is embedded in the biblical story Tower of Babel, which gives
a rather tragic explanation of the multiplicity of languages. As an audacious endeavor,
the tower of babel is a collective effort of humanity, aiming to reach heaven. To interrupt
this outrageous plan, God created different languages to confuse speech among
individuals.

This installation borrows the Tower of Babel as a backdrop, weaving personal motifs
(tower, flagpole, flags) to create an immersive experience that favors intimate
investigation. Flags reference a placeholder that craves meaning; a moment of
wordlessness; surrender; and distress.

Overall, this installation aims to contextualize the following situation:
An edging thought
A flawed, yet carefully choreographed sentence
A play in failure
A fruitless, yet humorous battle
